Iso-Ojan Liikenne Oy customer, contact and web service register.

    Personal data collected and sources

We collect only data necessary to provide our taxi services, manage customer relationships and respond to enquiries. Data is collected from the customer directly by phone, email or web forms. Business customer data may also be obtained from public business registers where necessary.

Data categories include: identification and contact details (name, phone, email, address); taxi booking details (pickup, destination, time, passengers, special needs); pre-orders and quote requests; customer communications; billing information for invoiced customers; and website usage data (IP address, cookies, analytics data).

    Purpose and legal basis

Personal data is processed for the following purposes: receiving and fulfilling taxi bookings, pre-orders and quote requests; managing customer relationships and communications; invoicing, payment tracking and accounting; ensuring website functionality and user experience; complying with statutory obligations such as accounting law; and handling complaints or legal claims.

The legal bases are performance of a contract, the controller's legitimate interest, statutory obligation, and — for cookies and analytics — the user's consent. Data is not used for automated decision-making.

    Processors and recipients

Access to personal data is limited to persons whose duties require it. External service providers may be used for hosting, database, email delivery and analytics purposes. All providers are carefully selected and bound by data protection obligations.

Personal data may be disclosed to authorities or other parties as required by law, or in connection with invoicing, accounting, debt collection or legal claims.

    Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Personal data is not transferred outside the EU/EEA as a rule. However, our analytics provider (Google) may process data on servers located outside the EU/EEA; such transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). Where transfers are otherwise technically necessary, we ensure that an appropriate legal basis and safeguards are in place. Further information on transfers is available on request.

    Cookies and analytics

We use cookies on our website to ensure functionality, improve user experience and analyse usage. We manage cookies and consent directly on our website. Users may accept or reject non-essential cookies via the cookie banner and can change their choice at any time.

    Data security

Personal data is protected by appropriate technical and organisational measures. Data is processed confidentially and access is restricted to persons whose duties require it. Encrypted connections are used for website data transfers.

    Retention periods

Booking and customer communication data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the service or handle customer enquiries.

Accounting records are retained for 6 years as required by Finnish accounting law. Unnecessary data is deleted appropriately.

    Your rights

You have the right to: obtain information about processing of your personal data; access your data; request rectification of inaccurate data; request erasure where there is no lawful basis for retention; request restriction of processing in certain circumstances; object to processing in certain circumstances; request data portability where applicable; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
