Special groups driver training for taxi drivers
Do you want to drive Kela and social transport? Special groups driver training gives you the skills to operate safely, professionally and customer-orientedly in various transport situations.
Iso-Ojan Liikenne is a Traficom-approved provider of special groups driver training. Training is provided in Finnish and Swedish.

The training is intended for taxi drivers who want to drive Kela and social transport and gain confidence in meeting, assisting and safely transporting special groups customers.
What are the benefits?
In the training you will learn to:
- meet different customers safely and respectfully
- assist customers correctly in different situations
- ensure customer safety throughout the journey
- operate smoothly in various special transport situations
- handle and position mobility aids correctly in the vehicle
Training duration
The training covers 21 hours in total over three days. If the taxi licence was granted on or after 1 July 2018, the full 21-hour training must be completed.
If the licence was granted before 1 July 2018, you can attend the 7-hour practical training.
